Introducing Third Party Debit Cards and Online Debit Card Ordering

Debit cards can now be ordered for a non-account owner online through the Cash Management Hub in Wealthscape InvestorSM.

Beginning July 15, we will expand our offering to allow account owners to issue debit cards to non-account owners (3rd Parties). Cards can be ordered by the account owner online in Wealthscape Investor in the Cash Management Hub. Accounts eligible to order 3rd Party Debit cards include:

  • Individual Accounts
  • JTWROS
  • Joint Tenants in Entirety
  • Joint TOD
  • Premiere Select HAS

3rd Party Debit Cards can be ordered by account owners who currently have a VisaTM Debit card on their brokerage account. Account owners may issue 3rd party cards to either minors or adults. Each card is issued with a unique debit card number which allows the account owner to manage the card, track spending and monitor transactions performed by the 3rd party.

3rd Party Debit Cards for Adults:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Have a default spend limit of $1000 daily
  • Have access to the debit card call center to inquire about their debit card only and will not get additional account details

3rd Party Debit Card for Minors

  • Must be 13 to 17 years of age
  • Will expire about 90 days after the minor’s 18th birthday
  • Have a daily spend limit of $250 daily
  • Have access to the debit card call center to inquire about their debit card only and will not get additional account details

Notes:

  • The account owner can manage the 3rd Party Debit card through the self-service features in the cash management hub in Wealthscape investor. Self- service features include locking the card to prevent use, activating the card, managing the PIN, and more.
  • OFAC/CIP checks are performed on all our debit card holders, including this new offering.
