Wealthscape and Wealthscape Investor Quote Enhancements

WealthscapeSM and Wealthscape InvestorSM Quote Enhancements

Enhanced Auto-Suggest in Quote Search
Auto-Suggest will be enhanced to create a more consistent search behavior across Wealthscape℠ and Wealthscape Investor℠. No action is needed.

Search will be enhanced to:

  • Automatically begin searching for suggestions once a user types at least two valid characters
  • Automatically fills in and submits search when a user selects an Auto-Suggested value using either a mouse click or by navigating with the arrow keys and pressing enter.
  • Closes Auto-Suggest menu if user submits a search without selecting an auto-suggested value

Logo displayed for asset next to symbol on Quote window
When available the logo for the company or security will be displayed to the left of the symbol on the quote screen. In the event there is no logo available a round icon will be displayed with an abbreviation displayed representing the security. No action is needed.

Wealthscape Investor Mobile App Updates

In an ongoing effort to improve the Wealthscape Investor mobile app experience, Fidelity Investments is pleased to introduce the following enhancements that will be available starting in October:

Tax Forms

  • Investors will have access to view their Tax Forms through the Documents feature currently available in the app
  • Tax forms are available for the last seven years, same as the browser experience
  • Estimated online activation dates provided for forms that are in progress
  • Notification if forms are delayed due to pending securities information
  • Informational message for De minimis tax forms

Existing Wealthscape InvestorSM mobile users that have automatic updates enabled in their device settings will receive new app updates automatically.

Existing Wealthscape InvestorSM mobile users that do not have automatic updates enabled in their device settings will need to download the latest version of the app from the App Store or Google Play Store.

The following screenshots illustrate the new Tax Forms feature in the Wealthscape Investor mobile app. Once an account is selected, the investor can tap on the Documents tab and then tap Tax Forms. The most recent tax year is displayed by default. The results section will display forms that are in progress or currently available.

When a tax form is available users can tap on the tax form name to view the PDF. Investors can zoom in and out on the document using their device as well as download and print a document. Tapping on the year allows users to select from the past seven years of tax forms.

Docupace Update: Discontinuing Use of the Send Originals Queues

When ESI first implemented Docupace, the Send Originals queue was used as a means of notification to the field that a work item had been approved by Home Office and could be mailed to the vendor. With the evolution of functionality within Docupace, including eSignature, approval email notifications, and automated faxing capabilities to vendors, there is no longer a need to manage this queue.

You will continue to receive the automated approval emails and should use this as your notification that paperwork can be sent to the vendor (in the few cases where physical paperwork is required).

Beginning October 3rd, you will no longer see the Send Originals dropdown menu within your work item indexing page.

Redtail and Outlook, Together at Last!

Starting Monday September 19th you will be able to connect your @nlgroupmail.com email address with your Redtail CRM system. This connection will allow you to manage your calendar wherever you go, push contacts from Redtail to Outlook, and even send emails from within Redtail so you do not have to switch between screens so often.

With this deeper integration, there is a need for additional protection of your client’s data. Beginning September 15th Redtail will require you set up Multifactor Authentication (MFA) on your account. Adding MFA reduces the risk of a hacker gaining access to your system, stealing client information, and even impersonating you. This is a critical security measure that protects you and your clients.

Enabling the integration is easy, and you can choose to enable just the calendar, just the email feature or both.

To activate the calendar sync, go to Manage Your Integrations and select Retriever Cloud. Make sure the integration switched to on, then click on the gear icon and select settings.

From here you can choose to sync clients, activities (calendar) or both. Be sure to check the sync deletions box if you plan to manage your calendar in Outlook. Finally click on the enable Outlook sync box to enter you agent portal credentials and finalize the connection.

To be able to email from Redtail you need to pull up the preferences menu in Redtail and scroll down until you get to the email section. Change the email client from external to internal, enter you name as you’d like clients to see it and copy your email signature from Outlook. Finally click the authorize button and follow the instructions to connect Outlook.

Don’t worry SmartOffice users. We are going to look into the Outlook-SmartOffice integration capabilities next!
