ESI Call Center Sub Menu Options Changing

To better serve the you and your clients, effective July 26, 2021, ESI will be changing its call center queue options.  We will also be introducing a voice mail option to the Docupace Technical Support service queue.  The firm’s toll-free number will remain the same at (800) 344-7437.  Read more for a summary of the changes

To better serve the you and your clients, effective July 26, 2021, ESI will be changing its call center queue options and adding a voice mail option to the Docupace Technical Support service queue.  The firm’s toll-free number will remain the same at (800) 344-7437.  New updates are as follows:

  • Current service sub menu options will be restructured.  Callers press 1 for service and 2 for Trading.
    • Press option 1 for Advisory service
    • Press option 2 for NFS Brokerage service
    • Press option 3 for Direct Business service
    • Press option 4 for Docupace Technical support not related to forms
    • Press option 5 for Suitability support
    • Press option 6 for Compensation support
  • To minimize the amount of time you spend on hold in the Docupace Technical support queue, we are introducing a voice mail option.  When an agent is not available to answer, you will be given the option to immediately leave a message requesting follow up support, or to continue to hold for the next available agent.  After eight (8) minutes on hold, you will automatically be directed to leave a message with the Docupace Technical Support team.  We strive to return all calls within one business day.  As always, Docupace Technical Support questions or requests to schedule a training  may be directed to DocupaceSupport@nationallife.com

SEI Investment Advisory Agreement Updated

The SEI Investment Advisory Agreement has been updated and is now available within Merrill Forms and is expected to be available in Docupace 07/15/2021.

The revision includes a new Total Advisory Fee section to indicate whether a new SEI account being established, or an existing SEI account being moved to ESI through an Advisory Firm change.  If an existing account is being moved to ESI you will need to indicate the established fee in this section.  The client signature section has also been revised so that the client is now only signing once.

Recent WSP and ADV Part 2A Updates

Field Notice 2021-20: Form ADV Part 2A Update
Effective July 1, 2021, ESI Financial Advisors (“EFA” or “the Firm”) updated its Form ADV Part 2A (ES0408) to reflect changes to its policy regarding the payment of financial planning/consulting fees.

The updated version of this form is available on the ESI Illuminations website and through the NLG website, via MerrillConnect. Please destroy and discontinue use of any previous versions of this disclosure document, and only use the current version.
