Envestnet has identified an issue with our closed lot reporting feature on the ESI Illuminations Platform. This feature allows Envestnet to sync closed tax lots with NFS ensuring the ESI Illuminations platform and NFS Realized Gain/Loss data are in sync. The reporting feature on the ESI Illuminations Platform has been turned off until the issues have been resolved which is targeted for mid-December.
While the closed lot file data synch is off, the realized gain/loss report will be a calculation based on the transactions that the system records as well as the depletion methodology stored at NFS. The data therefore may not match NFS. In order to get the most accurate picture of the Realized Gain/Loss the NFS data should be used.
Please note this is only effecting closed tax lots and therefore has no effect on the open lots that are used for trading in Harvest and Tax Overlay activities.
We will provide notification once the issues with the closed lot file have been corrected and validated and the sync is re-enabled on the ESI Illuminations Platform.
