Beginning June 15th, Registered Representatives can now use the new Change of Address Attestation Form to initiate a change of address for all ESI clients. Submission of this form replaces the previous process which varied depending on the business type. For example, previously for Brokerage and Illuminations accounts, ESI could only accept instructions from clients. This is a streamlined process that can be applied no matter what the business type.
Accepting the new Change of Address Attestation Form, which is not required to be client signed, gives representatives more control and responsibility over the address change process, enhancing client service while at the same time safeguarding against fraud.
